Milanese elegance celebrating colour, creative freedom and contemporary jewellery.
At Maison Roca, we have always been fascinated by how Pomellato has transformed modern jewellery. With a unique personality, rounded shapes and an extraordinary use of colour, the Milanese Maison has created a signature aesthetic, instantly recognisable. On 20 November, this fascination became a celebration with a special event at our boutique on Meritxell 97, where clients and friends discovered the Pomellato universe up close.
Pomellato: the art of shaping a style
Pomellato was founded in Milan in 1967 by Pino Rabolini, at a time when contemporary jewellery was undergoing a profound shift. His vision was as clear as it was revolutionary: to create prêt-à-porter jewellery, meant to be worn every day, with modern, bold designs and natural elegance.

While traditional jewellery focused on strict symmetry and conventional forms, Pomellato embraced freedom. Generous volumes, distinctive gemstone cuts, warm gold tones and shapes that follow the body with organic softness. The Maison soon became a reflection of a new woman: independent, expressive and confident.
A philosophy rooted in colour and authenticity
The strength of Pomellato lies in its visual language. Colour is its natural territory: large gemstones, unexpected combinations, and tones that capture and transform the light. The Maison does not follow trends – it creates them. This creative freedom has turned many of its collections into internationally recognised icons.
Craftsmanship is also central to the brand. Every piece is made in Pomellato’s Milanese workshops, where master artisans shape gold and gemstones using traditional techniques, carefully overseeing every stage of creation. This dedication ensures the comfort, durability and exceptional quality that define Pomellato.
Collections that have defined an era
Nudo
Nudo, with its unique gemstone cut and refined aesthetic, is perhaps Pomellato’s most iconic collection. A jewel that blends simplicity with sophistication and invites endless combinations of colours and sizes.

Iconica
Iconica pays tribute to gold and to Milan’s long-standing jewellery craftsmanship. Its rounded silhouettes and sculptural volume turn each piece into a wearable work of art.

Sabbia
Sabbia, with its irregular pavé and diamonds in tonal gradations, captures the texture of sunlit sand. A delicate, minimalist collection full of nuance.

An evening to remember: the Pomellato event at Meritxell 97
On 20 November, we had the privilege of hosting an event dedicated exclusively to Pomellato at our boutique on Meritxell 97. In a warm and convivial atmosphere, guests were able to admire an exceptional selection of jewellery pieces.

The brand’s manager for Iberia accompanied us throughout the evening, sharing her insights into the origins of the collections, the creative philosophy and the artisanal processes that make the Pomellato universe so unique. Her explanations offered a deep and enriching perspective, revealing details usually discovered only inside the Maison’s workshops.
The event was enhanced by a champagne and macaron cocktail, creating a refined and festive atmosphere. Clients and friends enjoyed conversation, tried on pieces, explored textures and colours, and spent a cultural evening that reaffirmed our belief that jewellery is also a space for emotion, experience and connection.
